Alessandro Moreschini - Punti di vista e non di fuga
"Visual artist active from 90s Alessandro Moreschini has an exuberant and meticulous creative vitality that cannot always be contained within the limits of the classical two-dimensional canvas but that comes from this to cover with a really decorative and color textures objects often from the daily life giving them a precious and unique aura. However this is not an exercise end in itself. Moreschini's artistic practice, in fact, as I have already had occasion to say in the past, is primarily an aesthetic commitment where the patterns endlessly repeated as in the industrial production are decorative, serial, rhythmic bio-morphisms reminiscent of a dense vegetation that covers the existing giving it a new life and a new look, a sort of revenge of dexterity on intellectualism or of the nature on the humanity as in the descriptions of Gilles Clément about the Third Landscape ie those spaces abandoned by man, where the nature takes over. I have always been believing in the regenerative power that art has on our lives and our cultures, our ways of thinking and acting, our ideas and values, therefore the idea that art can play and change our life is an idea that has always been fascinating me a lot", from the text "To decorate is to create a dialogue between different cultures and worlds" written for the exhibition catalogue edited by Dislocata and wunderkammer.
