Whether you came here through an exhibition, a book, a project, a conversation, or simply by chance, this is a place where I share some of the things I think about, create and care for.
My background is in sociology, but my work has always moved across different territories: contemporary art, writing, cultural projects, institutions and the relationships that connect them.

QURA
QURA begins with my initials, but cura — care — seems to me to express, more than any other word, something of the deeper meaning of this work.
To curate also means putting yourself in someone else’s place: first of all, the artists’, but also that of the public, institutions, people and contexts with whom we are constantly in relation. It means moving through different points of view, without ever being able to fully possess them.
For me, care is therefore also a form of responsibility: responsibility for the choices we make, for the relationships we build and for the consequences they may have.
This is why QURA extends beyond contemporary art. It is a manifesto and a method that I bring to different fields of my work: a way of approaching people, ideas, projects and institutions through attention, relation and responsibility.
