Ideas become interesting to me when they begin to take form.

Sometimes that form is an exhibition. Sometimes a film, a cultural programme, a publication, a conversation or something that does not quite belong to any established form.

My projects often begin by bringing together different perspectives — artists, institutions, places, disciplines and people — and seeing what can happen between them.

This is where my work as a curator, sociologist and writer most often comes together.
