LA NOSTRA CASA E' IN FIAMME
Bertozzi & Casoni, Enrica Borghi, Pierpaolo Curti, Eva Frapiccini, Alessandro Moreschini, Luca Pancrazzi e Francesca Pasquali
Galleria Artra - Milano
10 April - 11 May 2024
Inspired by Greta Thunberg’s book of the same name and the Fridays for Future movement, Our House Is on Fire begins with a question: what role can art play in the face of the climate crisis?
I conceived the exhibition as a space where reality, civic engagement and imagination could come together. The works of Bertozzi & Casoni, Enrica Borghi, Pierpaolo Curti, Eva Frapiccini, Alessandro Moreschini, Luca Pancrazzi and Francesca Pasquali explore, through different languages and perspectives, the relationship between human beings, the environment, consumption and the transformation of matter.
#ContemporaryArtistsForFuture thus becomes not only the connecting thread of the project, but also a statement of responsibility: art cannot solve the climate crisis, but it can make it visible, raise awareness and help us imagine different ways of inhabiting the world.
Presented during Milan Art Week 2024 and Fuorisalone, the exhibition inaugurated the new spaces of Galleria Artra in Milan.
